An Atlanta Native and Graduate of Henderson High School, has been coaching for 17 years, all in Georgia. This is his third year a Peachtree Ridge High School. He has an impressive list of awards including Region coach of the year 02, 04, 05 and 08. Dekalb County Coach of the year 02 and 04, Comcast Sports South Coach of the year 03 and 08 as well as AJC Coach of the year 08. Equally impressive is Coach Ballard’s win loss record. Coach Roman comes to us from Tucker High School where he coached for 19 years. A graduate of Tucker High School, he went on to West Georgia College where he earned his college degree. Coach Roman and his wife Christine have been married for 6 years and have one son, Luke 5 years old and a daughter Maria who is 2 years old. This is Coach Roman’s third year as a member of the PRHS Lions Coaching Staff. Coach Roman teaches Health and Physical Education.
Coach Gliatta’s home town is Canton, Ohio. He attended Kent State University where he earned his BBA degree. He played 4 years of High School football and 20 years of Rugby. Coach Gliatta has 23 years of coaching experience, a career that has seen him coach nearly every position in football. Most recently Coach Gliatta was the Offensive Coordinator at Tucker High School for 3 years.
Coach Gliatta and his wife Beth have been married for 8 years and have 2 daughters, Anna Marie, 5 years old and Gabriella, 16 months old. Coach Gliatta teaches Math.
Coach Winslette has spent seven years of his eleven coaching years with the PRHS Lions where he has been Offensive Line Coach, Assistant Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Coordinator. From Greensboro, Georgia, Coach Winslette played college ball at Georgia Southern University where he earned All-Conference honors and was named a first team All-American by USA Today and the Associated Press. Coach Winslette also works with the Peachtree Ridge Youth league as strength and conditioning coach.
Coach Winslette and his wife, Jennifer, a claims adjuster for Strickland Insurance, have been married for five years.
Coach Hollis is a native of Georgia. He graduated from Campbell High School and went on to get his degree from Jacksonville State University. Coach Hollis played football in College and High School. He comes to us from South Forsyth High School and has been coaching football for 15 years. This will be his second year coaching at PRHS.

Coach Aycock grew up in Baxley, Georgia, and graduated from Appling County High School in 1990. He received his undergraduate degree from Georgia College & State University and continued on to earn his Master’s Degree and his Specialist Certification. Coach Aycock has been coaching for 13 years. This is his second year coaching at PRHS.

Coach Lumpkin brings over 21 years of experience to the Lions. He is in his 6th year at PRHS. He hails from Birmingham, Alabama, and has his BS degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He also holds his Master’s degree.
Coach Lumpkin teaches physics and is also the assistant golf coach in the Spring. His daughter Elise, married Todd Benoit this summer and now resides with Coach Lumpkin.
Coach Tiller was raised in Snellville, Georgia, and attended Wofford College. In High School he was a 4 year letterman and was a starter at Wofford for 3 years. As a senior at Wofford they won the Southern Conference Championship and finished ranked 6th in the Country. Coach Tiller started his career as a Football Coach here at PRHS and is going on his second year.
Coach Tiller is married to Sarah, who teaches the 3rd grade at Jackson Elementary School. Coach Tiller teaches Social Studies.
Coach Mitchell has 9 years experience Coaching High School Football, while simultaneously coaching at the youth level in Gwinnett County. This will be his fourth year at Peachtree Ridge as a community Coach. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, where he earned both ALL-SEC and All-American honors as a wide receiver before playing with the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL.
Coach Boo is the owner of The Factory, a Sports Performance Facility and has a 17 year old son, B.J., and a 14 year old daughter, Sydney.
Coach Basher is going into his six year of teaching at PRHS. He is an interrelated special education math teacher, who works in both resource and collaborative classrooms. Coach Basher started his High School coaching career 20 years ago in New Milford, CT.
He has spent the last several years, however, coaching his 12 year old son, Tristan, in several different sports across Georgia. This will be Coach Basher’s fourth year of coaching at PRHS. Coach Basher is also the Head Coach of the Boys Lacrosse team. Read More
Coach Reed was raised in Decatur, Georgia, and played High School Football at Tucker High School, where he also ran track. Coach Reed played his college football at South Carolina State University. This is Coach Reed’s third year coaching at PRHS.
Coach Elder was raised in Decatur, Georgia, and played high school football at Towers High School. He has been coaching for 20 years. Eight of those years was spent coaching at Southwest Dekalb, eight at Tri-Cities and four at Tucker High School. Coach Elder played college football at University of Alabama.
Coach Elder and his wife Rita have been married for 19 years and have 3 children, Meagan 18 years old, Christian 6 years old and Dylan, 3 years old. Coach Elder teaches Econ, Study Skills, and World History. Welcome Coach Elder.
Coach Beckham’s home town is Louisville, KY. He graduated from Southwest Dekalb High School in Decatur, GA where he was SIAC Player of the Year. He played with the Canadian Football League and the Arena Football League team Milwaukee Mustangs. He has 15 years total coaching experience. This will be Coach Beckham’s first year at PRHS.
Coach Beckham and wife Demeka have been married for 14 years. They have three children: Aybriel 13, Terry 11 and Destiny 9. Coach Beckman is the Founder of Georgia Xtreme Youth Football League and Leaders of the South Youth Mentoring Program.

Coach Davenport, in his fifth year at PRHS, brings 15 years of coaching experience to the table. Originally from North Carolina, he graduated from UNC Wilmington.
Coach Davenport is celebrating 13 years of marriage to his wife, Karen. They have three children: Jackson 10, Joseph 8, and Lydia 5. Coach Davenport also coaches 9th Grade Boys Basketball. He teaches Social Studies at PRHS.
Coach Stovall is a native of the metro Atlanta area and will be one of the community coaches for the 9th grade team working with the linebackers and running backs. He graduated from Troy State University in Troy, Alabama, where he was a member of the Trojans Football team. This is his eleventh season of community coaching and his fourth year with the Lions.
Coach Stovall lives in Duluth with his wife, Shirley, and their two sons, Tripp and Devin.
Coach Newman grew up in Snellville, Georgia, and attended Brookwood High School, where he played football. He graduated from the University of Georgia. This will be Coach Newman’s second year coaching football at PRHS.
Coach Newman is engaged to Katie Crawford. He teaches Physics and Math.
Coach Pollock was born in Lilburn, Georgia, and graduated from Duluth High School, where he played Football. He is currently attending Gainesville State College. Previously Coach Pollock helped coach track at Duluth. This is his second year coaching football at PRHS.
Dr. Scott Quisling’s home town is Gainesville, FL. He is a graduate of University of Florida College, Medical School. He and his wife, Yvette, have three children: Ryan 9, Matt 8 and Parker 6.
Scott G. Quisling, M.D. has established himself as one of the premier orthopaedic specialists for sports injuries in Atlanta. Dr. Quisling completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Lake Tahoe Orthopaedic Institute in Zephyr Cove, Nevada, providing him the invaluable experience of performing advanced knee and shoulder surgery. Coach Lombardo is a Hofstra University graduate where he was captain of the Lacrosse and Football teams as well as MVP in Football. He has been a practicing chiropractor for 24 years. Bob and wife, Michelle, have 3 sons, Zach, former captain of the Lions, is now at UGA along with his second son Anthony. Their youngest, Nick, will be playing his senior year of Varsity football for the Lions.
Mark is in his fifth year as Head Athletic Trainer for Peachtree Ridge. He works with coaches and student athletic trainers to help prevent injuries in our student athletes. He spends mornings working in the Rehabilitation Department at Resurgens Orthopaedics in Lawrenceville. Mark has a Bachelors Degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training from Valdosta State University. While at VSU, he met his wife, Kathryn, and together they have a son, Gabriel, and a daughter, Kaitlyn.
