Lanier's football program wasn't able to find a replacement varsity game for Friday, so the Longhorns will take an off week.

Lanier expected to host Peachtree Ridge, but the Lions were forced to cancel their next two games after a player from Centennial, their opponent last Friday, tested positive for COVID-19.

Lanier's next game is Oct. 9, the Region 8-AAAAAA opener against Dacula.
