Scott G. Quisling, MD, has established himself as one of the premier orthopedic specialists for sports injuries in Greater Atlanta. Dr. Quisling completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Lake Tahoe Orthopedic Institute in Zephyr Cove, NV, providing him the invaluable experience of performing advanced knee and shoulder surgery. He has been in medical practice with Resurgens Orthopaedics in Gwinnett County for over a decade with his office located at the Gwinnett Center for Specialty Medicine in Lawrenceville, GA. His areas of expertise are sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery, and joint replacement. Dr. Quisling has been voted as one of Gwinnett's "Top Docs" by Accent Gwinnett Magazine and has been the team physician for Peachtree Ridge High School athletes since the beginning of the PRHS Program.  

Heather Peterman

Head Athletic Trainer

Heather Peterman was born and raised in Gwinnett County. She completed her undergraduate studies at Lees-McRae College, where she graduated cum laude with a B.S. in athletic training. During her time there, she continued her cross country/track & field career at the collegiate level. In 2014, she was a finalist for the Conference Carolina Murphy Osborne Scholar-Athlete Award.  She is a member of NATA, SEATA, and GATA. Peterman is excited to be back in Gwinnett as part of the Peachtree Ridge High School athletic team 

Mallory McQuaig

Assistant Athletic Trainer

Mallory McQuaig is entering her first full year at Peachtree Ridge High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training from the University of Georgia where she worked with the gymnastics team and the women's basketball team. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, SEATA, and is an Impact trained athletic trainer. Prior to working for Gwinnett Medical Center, Mallory earned her Masters degree from the University of North Georgia in health and physical education with a focus in exercise science.
