Jim Walsh Jr

Offensive Line Coach

This is Coach Jim Walsh's fifth season at Peachtree Ridge High School as an offensive line coach. He also teaches world history. Coach Walsh was inducted into the Greater Savannah Athletic Hall of Fame in May 2015.

Coach Walsh played high school football for his father, Jim Walsh, at Benedictine Military School in Savannah, GA where to was a three year letterman in football and track. He was also a one year letterman in basketball and was a member of the military JROTC for two years.

Coach Walsh played linebacker, offensive tackle, and offensive guard at the University of South Carolina. He was a three year starter, a four year letterman and won an Outstanding Lineman Blocking Award. After graduating college in 1984, Coach Walsh signed as a free agent with the Tampa Bay Bandits in Tampa, FL to play offensive guard. 

Prior to coaching at Peachtree Ridge, Coach Walsh was the assistant head football coach and offensive line coach at Luella High School in McDonough, GA for one season. For 19 year, Coach Walsh was the head football coach and athletic director at Bradwell Institute in Hinesville, GA where he was named Region Coach of the Year twice, five-time GHSA Coach of the Year - Hinesville Official Association, two-time assistant coach in the GACA North South All-Star Game and coached thee times in the War of the Border (Georgia/Florida) All-Star Game. 

In 1988, Coach Walsh was named head football coach at Sol. C. Johnson High School in Savannah, GA where he remained for six years. During his stay he was named Savannah News-Press Coach of the Year and Quarterback Club Coach of the Year. In  1987, Coach Walsh was an offensive line coach at Western Kentucky University for one year where he also oversaw the weight training and conditioning program. In 1985, Coach Walsh was a graduate assistant at the University of South Carolina assisting with the offensive line for one year. 

Coach Walsh has been marring to Rebecca Oldfield Walsh for 34 years. They have one son, James "Jake" Robert Walsh III, and one daughter, Erin Elizabeth Walsh.


Terry Doster

Offensive Line Coach

Coach Doster is entering his second season at Peachtree Ridge High School coaching the offensive line and his 13th season coaching high school football. He coached eight years at South Gwinnett High School as varsity offensive line coach. Before that, he served as South's 9th grade head football coach.

Doster and his wife Dana have two children, Ashley and Chris, and a granddaughter, Aubrey.

Cranston Anderson

Wide Receivers Coach

Coach Cranston Anderson will enter his third season at Peachtree Ridge High School as a wide receivers coach. He has coached for over 30 years, 14 of which has been coaching wide receivers in Georgia.

Coach Anderson is from Jacksonville, FL. He attended Florida A&M University where he was on two National Championship football teams in 1977 and 1978. Coach Anderson also made the practice squad of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1981. 

Coach Anderson has a B.A. in early childhood education from Ashford University. He and his wife Shirley have three children: Erica, Chelsea, and Cranston Jr. They attend New Mercies Christian Church where Coach Anderson is an ordained deacon. 


Bradley Coleman

Wide Receivers Coach

Coach Bradley Coleman is entering is second season at Peachtree Ridge High School as a wide receivers coach and his third season coaching high school football. He previously coached at Mountain View High School. 

Coach Coleman attended Norcross High School where he played football and basketball all four years. He was a member of the 2011 Boys Basketball State Championship team. Coleman went on to play football at Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA. He achieved Louisiana All-State College Football honors in 2013 and was a member of the 2013 SWAC Conference Championship team. Coleman has a daughter, Amara (2). 

Jeremy Muyres

Running Back Coach | Strength & Conditioning Coordinator

Coach Jeremy Muyres is entering his second season at Peachtree Ridge High School as the running backs coach and the strength and conditioning coordinator. Muyres previously coached at Norcross High School for 8 years.

Coach Muyres was a four-year letterman in football at Georgia Tech University. He has a son, Kellan (4).

Ryan Douglas

Defensive Backs Coach

Coach Ryan Douglas is in this third season at Peachtree Ridge High School where he coaches the defensive secondary. He teaches in the Health & Physical Education department. 

Coach Douglas attended high school in Charlotte, NC and went on to play college football at Mars Hill College. He is entering his ninth season coaching football.  He was a graduate assistant at Gardner-Webb University in 2008. He coached at Jack Britt High School in North Carolina 2014-2016,  and in Georgia at Centennial High School  2012-2014 and South Forsyth High School 2010-2012. 

Coach Douglas's wife Ashley also teaches at Peachtree Ridge. They have an infant daughter, Sutton. 

Israel Autman

Defensive Ends Coach

Coach Israel Autman is in his 8th season coaching football and teaching at Peachtree Ridge High School. This is his fifth year coaching the varsity defensive line. Before that he coached the 9th grade team's offensive and defensive lines. He is a special education teacher. 

Coach Autman graduated from Brookhaven High School in Brookhaven, MS where he was a two-sport athlete in football and basketball. He played college football at Miles College in Birmingham, AL, where he was selected All SIAC Conference in 2006. Also in 2006, he graduated with a BS degree in biology and went on to play Arena football for the Austin Wranglers in Austin, TX and the Alabama Hammers in Huntsville, AL. 

Coach Autman also has a master's degree in health science from Life University. 

Gary Hughes

Defensive Coordinator | Linebackers Coach

Coach Gary Hughes will enter his third season at Peachtree Ridge High School as defensive coordinator and linebackers coach. He teaches in the Health & Physical Education department. 

Hughes is entering his 30th season as a high school football coach, 16 years as a head football coach. He previously served eight seasons coaching in the collegiate ranks. He played football at Sterling College where he was a two-year team captain.

Hughes has been married to his wife Lyn for 36 years. They have four children: Ashley, Gary Jr., Kelsey, and Wesley. They also have three grandchildren: Brooklynn (6), Brynlee (2), and Riley (2). Currently, both of Coach Hughes' sons are high school coaches in Georgia. 

Jason Prather

Defensive Line Coach

Coach Jason Parther is entering his second season at Peachtree Ridge High School as a defensive line coach and 11th season coaching high school football. 

Prather played high school football at Norcross high School and college football at Virginia State University. He is married to Dawn Prather, and they have three children: Nala (6), Jason Jr. (4), and Zoe (2). 


Brad Carroll

Special Teams Coordinator

This is Coach Brad Carroll's seventh season at Peachtree Ridge High School where he is the special teams coach. In prior seasons, he coached linebackers, wide receivers, and was an assistant head coach. He teaches US history and economics. 

Coach Carroll graduated from Gordo High School in Gordo, AL. He earned an associate's degree from Shelton State Community College in Tuscaloosa, AL, and a B.S. degree in social science education from Troy State University in Troy, AL. 

In 1995, Coach Carroll began his coaching career at Walton High School in DeFuniak Springs, FL, coaching the offensive line and linebackers through 2000. He spent the 2001 football season coaching the offensive line and linebackers at Gulf Shores High School in Gulf Shores, AL. At the end of that season, Coach Carroll became the head football coach at South Lamar High School in Millport, AL, where he coached six seasons.In 2008, he came to Georgia to be the assistant head coach, offensive line, and linebackers coach at Chapel Hill High School in Douglasville, GA. 

Coach Carroll is married to his wife Alyson and they have two daughters: Bradyn (19), a sophomore at Young Harris College; and Rylee (16), a member of the Lions football film crew.
